Chic on the Cheap: Gap Supersoft Tees Review and Sale

While I enjoy all things haute couture, I love comfort as much as the next person.  Which is why, every once in a while, I find myself buying a bunch of Gap’s comfy cotton-modal blend tees.  Then, I proceed to wear them until they fall apart.  The tees are perfect layered under sweaters and cardigans, paired with a statement necklace on a brisk fall day, or even worn to sleep once one is embarrassed to wear the tees outside after all that layering.  Hey, can’t exactly be wasteful on my shoestring budget.

Through this Sunday, July 12, Coupon code “GOOD” at will get you 40% off of everything on the Gap website, including my favorite tees, which can be found here.  With the discount, the tees will set you back $3 to $6, and are available in petite sizes.  More styles from Gap’s supersoft tee shirt collection are available here.

Although I’m still No-Spend-Maytembering, I purchased a few supersoft tees as well as some replacement workout pants from Old Navy (30% off with coupon code “COOL”) for about $50.  A pretty good deal, if I say so myself.

Considering that I had to talk myself out of buying the totally awesome constellation print shirt that debuted just in time for the Oiselle brick-and-mortar store’s grand opening, I think I’m doing pretty well with my budget challenge…

Have a great weekend!

  1. I just had to purchase a bunch of new clothes for my new job after realizing the only clothes I had to wear were workout clothes and pjs. 🙂 Working from home has that advantage of not needing new clothes! I may as well go purchase some more clothes while I’m at it. Thanks!
