Wrap dresses are my favorite — they’re super easy to wear, versatile, and easy to accessorize.
I’ve been lusting after DvF wrap dresses for a while. (Let’s just say … it will be a while yet.)
Ann Taylor has some pretty great jersey dresses that have withstood my frequent washing and wearing of them for over a year now. Their wrap dresses tend to look weird on me, but I like this faux-wrap-ish look that’s currently 40% off.
Banana Republic has the Gemma Wrap Dress, which I bought on sale in a blue and white floral print last fall. The fabric is a tad on the thin side, but I love the ruching on the shoulders and the 3/4 sleeves — and the fact that it runs in petite sizes. The dress is available online in several colors, including a lovely burgundy — but I’d probably go for this teal one in Petites.
Oh yeah, there’s also the Issa for BR version of Kate Middleton’s engagement dress, which I did not find particularly flattering for my figure, but YMMV.
Lastly, there are a few wrap dresses at Old Navy (and 20% off online with the coupon code ONTREAT until 9/18). The last time I tried on an Old Navy wrap dress was last winter, and I found the fabric pretty flimsy and the v-neck kind of low for work, but maybe the styles have changed since last winter.
